In a bid to improve efficiency in complaints management, the Commission has developed a new Complaints Management Information System that will enable government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to submit their reports on performance contracts, access online the complaints lodged against them and access their compliance certificate online at the end of each financial year.

During a breakfast meeting for the Chief Executive Officers of selected public institutions on 22nd June 2017 at a Nairobi hotel, the Commission’s Information, Communication and Technology department took the CEOs through the system and the benefits that will come with the new system once it becomes operational in July this year.

The system seeks to address challenges experienced in the past and is expected to increase efficiency as well as reduce cost of complaints management, both at the Commission and at the agencies’ level since it will have a single and central source of data and information. The system has been developed with the support from Germany through GIZ.
